Hello FRC ARTISTS!
Here’s a list of options for you to work on while you are away from the school building. Most of these assignments can be completed without any major art supplies - simply using the items in your FRC Art Kit, items found around your home, and/or a phone or camera.
I would like you to try to work on a challenge every Monday and Wednesday (some challenges may take more than one day) while you're away. You pick which ones are most interesting/fun to you. Please do not worry about working on them during weekends, or spring break. That means you'll complete somewhere between 4 and 7 of these challenges before May 1st, depending on which ones you choose.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember to do is to document your work. PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING - while you are working, and after your're finished. Since I can't observe you working while you're away, this is what I will be looking at to assess your process: this includes your thinking, your idea development, your growth, your risk-taking, your creativity, and your persistence. Share photos of what you’re doing (if you are able to do so) using Edsby and Instagram (tag @frcvisualarts if you are using Instagram to share).
